Martin Whitton Photography is proud to announce that we were chosen as 2010 recipients of Wedding Wire's "Bride's Choice Awards" for Photojournalism! :)
Established in 2007 - Martin Whitton Photography began in the Fall of 2002 as an art photography adventure which took Martin all over the world to capture images in places such as Cambodia, Costa Rica, Thailand, Mexico, Venezuela and The United Kingdom. After displaying work in galleries around Texas and participating in photography workshops/projects for several years in Austin, TX, Martin began experimenting with portrait photography and was later personally recruited for wedding photography. An active wedding photography business became the obvious next step. In 2009, Martin Whitton Photography photographed 75 events, including weddings, Engagements, Portraits and more in Central Texas.
Meet the Business Owner: Martin W.
Thank you for visiting! I would like to share why I'm passionate about photography and what I strive to do for my clientele, which I think is different. I've traveled worldwide and I feel like everyone in every place has a story to tell, which can be captured by the camera lens. Each wedding I photograph and each couple that are involved have a special story and it's my job to capture that story and the emotions involved. Some things that I strive to do better as a photojournalist and as a business owner are through my customer service and my professionalism. I let my clients know that they are important by responding to emails and phone calls in a timely manner (sometimes instantaneously). And when I am on hand to photograph a wedding, I put my best foot forward by dressing appropriately (normally wearing slacks and a tie, for example) and respecting the sanctity of such an important day.
"I am the featured photographer for David's in the Arboretum, so I have worked with most David's staff, and they are wonderful. Go check them out!"
We are proud members of the Wedding & Portrait Photographers International (WPPI) for 2010.
